Range services are an independent engineering service specialising in the Install, Service and Repair of AGA Rayburn and Range Cookers based in Lincolnshire
Thankfully it made the journey without a problem, and thanks to David Brown of Range Services, an excellent Aga specialist and well recommended, it is now commissioned and ready to go.
If you are looking for a good Aga specialist, then look no further. We moved from Kent to Lincolnshire in December and brought our 4 oven gas Aga with us – it looked so sad all crated up in the garage. We have just had a new kitchen fitted and David Brown from Range Services was the man who we had to rebuild and install our Aga.
There is nothing David doesn’t know about Agas, and he cares. He treated our Aga with love and care and painstakingly rebuilt it to, what we actually think is better than it was originally. We highly recommend him for anything Aga and will continue to use him to service our Aga going forward.

GAS AGA/RAYBURNS
It is recommended that a Gas AGA is serviced on an annual basis for running efficiency and safety. Long time lapses between servicing can result in the sudden extinguishing of the AGA. Due to the nature of Gas as a fuel (especially with open flues) it can result in poor combustion, which then creates toxins such as carbon monoxide (in a worst case scenario) which is life threatening. Booking in advance for a service is better than trying to get an emergency last minute booking at peak times of the year.
Oil AGA/RAYBURNS
It is recommended that an oil AGA or vaporising Rayburn is serviced on a six monthly basis for running efficiency and safety. If you do turn your AGA off during the summer months or you have a pressure jet Rayburn, then an annual service will be sufficient. However, long time lapses between servicing can result in sudden drops in heat, or the AGA to extinguish completely. Quality of oil purchased can also have an impact on the running performance of your appliance. Booking in advance for a service is better than trying to get an emergency booking at peak times of the year.
